Michelle Goodwin Panagiotes

A teacher for over 50 years, Michelle has been the Founding Director of MGSD since 1973. She trained with the Donna Miceli Dance Center, the Gus Giordano Dance Center in Chicago and has continued her dance education throughout her career. She is over a 40 year member of the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston and has held many important Board of Director positions including President! She is also a member of the Dance Masters Association of Boston as well as a member of the Townsend Business Association. The founder of the Michelle Goodwin’s Dance Company, she has served as its Director. The Dance Company performed in 1998, 2000, and 2006 at Walt Disney World in Florida and also performed on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship in February 2002 and on Carnival Cruise Lines in June 2010.
Tiffany P. Pelletier
(Teacher & Director)
A staff member for over 20 years, this is Tiffany’s 36th year dancing at MGSD. She graduated from the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston Teacher Training Course in July of 2000. Tiffany was the recipient of the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston Award for Ballet in 1998 and for Best Teach-In Performance in 2000. Tiffany is a member of the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston and has held many Board Positions. Tiffany recently joined the Dance Masters Association of Boston! Tiffany graduated in 2005 from Framingham State College with a degree in Communication Arts and Political Science.
Anne has studied and been a student at MGSD for 45 years. Anne joined the MGSD staff in 1982 and has been diligently working as both our office administrator and a teacher. She completed the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston, Dance Education Training Course in 1992. Anne is employed as a veterinary technician at “The Cat Doctor” in Nashua, NH.
Kelly Hayward has over 30 years of teaching experience. Kelly is an MGSD Alumni and began her teaching career here at MGSD over 30 years ago. She has taken classes from many professional teachers from across the country and studied at The Gus Giordano Dance Center in Evanston, Illinois. Kelly is a graduate of the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston, a 30 year DTCB member, has served on the Board of Directors for 16 years serving as President of the organization for two terms. Kelly works full time for Verizon Communications and is also pursuing her Mater's Degree in Business Admin with a concentration in Leadership at Southern New Hampshire University.
Nicole has been teaching at MGSD for ten years, and dancing for 24. She graduated from Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston’s Training Course in 2008. Nicole graduated from Lunenburg High in 2009, and Mount Wachusett Community College with an AA in Liberal Arts in 2014. She continued her education at Dean College and received her BA in Dance and Arts & Entertainment Management in 2017. She performed with a Boston contemporary dance company Evolve Dynamics from 2016-2017. She also spent 6 months in Guangxi, China teaching English and Dance at a university from 2017-2018. She is currently working towards her MA at Lesley University, studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization of Dance & Movement Therapy.
Sarah has been a student at MGSD for over 25 years and was a previous member of the MGSD staff as both an Assistant Teacher and Teacher. She graduated from the Dance Teacher's Club of Boston Dance Education Training Course in August of 2004. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Framingham State University in 2009 and was an active member of the college's student-run dance organization. She is currently a Special Education teacher in the public school system. Sarah graduated with a Master’s Degree in Special Education in 2017.
Caitlin started dancing at MGSD when she was 2 years old. This is now her 18th year at the studio and 3rd year back after 10 years away during college and starting a career. She has danced in musicals, on dance teams and in college shows throughout the years. Caitlin lives in Fitchburg with her husband and two cats. She is a registered dietitian and works as a clinical nutrition manager at a local hospital.
Samantha has been part of the MGSD family since she was 3! She took classes at MGSD until she graduated from High School at NMRHS. She was an active member of the MGSD dance company and a graduate from the Dance Teachers Club of Boston Teacher Training. When Samantha isn't the office at MGSD she is buying/selling real estate with Front Door Reality in Groton!
Jennifer began her formal training in classical ballet, tap and jazz at MGSD. She graduated from the Dance Education Training Course in 1995; and in March of 2003 became a member of The Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston. Jen graduated from Franklin Pierce College in May of 1999 with a degree in Graphic Communication and Dance. Jennifer is so excited to be back at MGSD teaching this season!

Carly is a 13th year student a MGSD and has been a student demonstrator for 6 years. She attends multiple conventions a year as well as The Gold Schools No Boundaries week long intensive in 2018 and 2019. Carly recently completed her first year of the Dance Teachers Club Boston training course and plans to graduate in 2022. She is a junior at Oakmont Regional High school, as well as Relay For Life captain in peer leaders at her school. Carly also works at the Ice Cream Factory. She can’t wait to teach for the first time and be a part of the MGSD staff.
Elizabeth is a 13 year student of MGSD taking classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, musical theater and contemporary. Elizabeth had been a student demonstrator for 6 years and enjoys helping the young students learn to dance. Elizabeth attends multiple conventions each year hosted by the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and has attended The Gold School’s No Boundaries week long intensive in 2018 and 2019. Elizabeth recently completely her first year of The Dance Education training course and plans to graduate the program in 2022. Elizabeth is excited to be on the MGSD staff this year!
Amerikis has been dancing at MGSD for 12 years. She has been student demonstrating for 7 years, and is so excited to teach this year! Amerikis is a junior at Fitchburg High School, and is in the Honors Academy program at the high school. She has attended multiple conventions including the Gold School’s No Boundaries summer intensive, as well as ones hosted by Dance Teachers Club of Boston. Amerikis has recently completed her first year in the Dance Education training course.
Chloe has been dancing at MGSD for 8 years and has student demonstrated for both Tap 1 and Tri-combo. She is a student at Cushing Academy and has been a part of the Cushing Dance Program for four years. She has been the recipient of several of the dance program’s awards such as “Biggest Contribution” and “All-Around Excellence”. Chloe is currently working as a waitress at the Westminster Cafe and as an intern at Applewild School as a preschool teacher in hopes of becoming a future educator. It is Chloe’s first year teaching at MGSD and she is so excited to share her love for dance with her students!
Abby has been dancing at MGSD for 11 years. She has been a student demonstrator and assistant for 5 years. This is her first year teaching! She graduated this year from Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston Dance Education Training Course and received the Dance Teachers Club of Boston’s award for the highest score in aptitude for teaching Jazz. She plans on continuing to work with DTCB in their apprenticeship program. She is a senior at North Middlesex Regional High School, her Student Council’s president, coordinator of service groups within her community, in National Honors Society, and a manager at Cherry Hill. Abby is so excited to teach this year and to share her passion of dance!
